Lancashire Pioneers

These pioneers were either born in Lancashire or their endeavours made a significant contribution to the development of the County. 

The links on the left will guide you through the information. There is an alphabetical list of Pioneers, or you can browse the Pioneers by the field in which they excelled. 

Please note that this site contains many images. Whilst every effort has been made to ensure that the images download quickly, some images are still quite large because of the nature of their subjects and as a result may take longer to download.
